Quake Strikes Nevada! (Updated)

At 6:16 AM, a 6.3 magnitude earthquake rocked Nevada and Utah and was felt as far north as southwestern Idaho and as as far west as southern California. The epicenter is located in the northeast corner of Nevada near Elko, 15 miles east-southeast of Wells, Nevada, and about 149 miles west of Salt Lake City, and the started at a depth of more than 6 miles underground. As of now no reports of loss of life have been recorded, but Elko County Undersheriff Rocky Gonzalez said there are some unconfirmed reports of some damage to buildings.

UPDATE:

The quake leaves Las Vegas intact but building swayed in Salt Lake City, Utah, and there are reports of a building collapse in the small town of Wells, Nevada.
